The plugin is designed to provide you with a way to offer your members an 'instantly' unsubscribe from your site when they wish to (no need to log in). This can improve the professionalism of your image as well as help to ensure you abide by anti-spam legislation.

The way it works is you include some special text in the emails you send to members, including a special link. If the member wishes to unsubscribe, they need to simply click the link, then click once again on a confirmation page, and they will immediately have their account changed to canceled status, and a confirmation message will be shown.

All text in the plugin is fully configurable, which will allow the plugin to work on non-English sites, and CSS is also included to help you control the look of your unsubscribe and confirmation pages.
